Trinket Boxes

Used for storing little keepsakes, pewter trinket boxes have been around for centuries. Originally, in the 17th century there was a spike in the manufacture of these dainty, small boxes after the Limoges Box began production in France. These elegant and intricate pieces where mainly associated with the rich and noble for storing their earrings or broaches. Later in the 19th century, they were the ‘must have’ in vanity cases for women all over the world. Trinket boxes have been made from all types of materials but I'm sure you'll agree the pewter trinket box is one to be desired.

Pewter trinket boxes can be purchased for any celebration. For example, you may wish to purchase one for a christening for parents to store the baby’s first lock of hair or first tooth. We have received many orders from people who offer them as a thank you gift to their wedding party. There never needs to be a specific reason for the gift of a pewter trinket box. Sometimes it's the gift that just says you care. One trinket box gift often leads to the start of a collection and we have a plethora of shapes and designs to please the little lady in your life.
